Hi I am Ms Lunn and teach Year 2.
During the Autumn term, we visit Liverpool for our history topic, Lively Liverpool, where the children learn about our most famous local sons, The Beatles and experience interactive workshops in the Museum of Liverpool. The children build upon their maths knowledge throughout the year, among other topics becoming more able in crucial life skills such as telling the time, recognising, sorting and counting money, and learning about units of measure. The children explore their developing English skills through regular Phonics lessons and exploring a range of literature and poetry. Consciousness-based Interdisciplinary Studies is at the heart of all of our lessons and this helps to nurture each individual's potential, creativity and understanding of the world.
